Examples of Duties
Under the direction of the Senate Secretary a Deputy Senate Secretary may perform the following: Prepare and finalize the daily Senate Journal, prepare and finalize Senate Journal Supplements and Joint Journal Supplements, prepare and operate voting board in Senate Chamber, take notes during floor session, other duties may be assigned.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
The ability to work with-in a high-pressure environment with multiple priorities, interruptions and demanding deadlines.
Proficient knowledge in the use of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook software within a business environment.
Graduation from high school or the equivalent.
