In this position you will be responsible for providing training and technical guidance to Department of State staff and county election offices on the proper administration and application of election-related applications and systems. This includes taking, responding to, and properly escalating requests for application support as well as answering the Voter Hotline throughout the year.
You will also support the planning and implementation of business needs in election technology. This involves analyzing and recommending system changes and participating in requirements gathering and user acceptance testing. Your responsibilities will include applying research techniques, preparing data collection tools, analyzing data, and presenting results to make effective recommendations for changes and improvements. Work also involves conducting individual and group instruction, developing training materials, and documenting and clearly presenting solutions that solve client problems.
