The Genetic Selection Lead provides strategic long term genetic selection research, technology, insights and marketing direction (3 – 5 year strategy) to Innvictis Seed product strategies in order to strengthen Innvictis Seed Solutions’ product portfolio.
This role will support the Eastern Cornbelt: Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, and Missouri.
• Requires a MS or PhD OR substantial experience (>20 years) in seed industry in field/research and genetic evaluation positions.
15+ years related experience and/or training
Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered for meeting the minimum requirements.
• Requires >85% travel during growing season
• Requires >70% travel in off season training and discussing key genetic characteristics of each selection
• Must engage all 5 major seed genetic houses and work closely with their geneticists, breeders and biologists to identify high potential lines 3-5 years before commercialization.
• Must be an effective communicator and trainer in addition to strong biological skills.

Salary range: $145,000–$155,000 annually. Actual compensation will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to experience, skills, education, and location, and may vary above or below the stated range as permitted by law. Plus annual incentive plan eligibility
