Role Description

The Manager, Corporate Environmental Compliance is a strategic leader that will oversee and be responsible for all aspects of environmental regulatory compliance for all Anchor Hocking locations.  This key role will report to the Director, Corporate EHS.  


Role Responsibilities

•    Oversee reporting requirements and compliance obligations associated with facility air permits.  This includes Title V.

•    Maintain chemical inventory to support reporting for things such as annual Form R, EPCRA and other similar obligations.

•    Partner with Safety to oversee and manage emergency response.

•    Manage hazardous and non-hazardous waste (RCRA).  This includes proper profiling, working with hazardous waste vendors, arranging shipments, submitting reports and conducting inspections of storage areas.

•    Coordinate with operations to identify waste reduction and recycling opportunities.

•    Support key customer sustainability reporting.

•    Manage storm water inspections, performing as needed.

•    Oversee SPCC compliance.

•    Manage waste water sampling requirements as dictated by facility waste water discharge permits in the states of New York and Ohio.

•    Responsible for oversight of Asbestos containing materials.  Direct proper disposal and management as needed.

•    Position works closely with the regulatory community.  Federal, State and Local.

•    Team with EHS organization to develop comprehensive system for overall EHS management.


Qualifications

•    BS in Environmental Science, Civil Engineering or Physical Science such as geology or hydrology.

•    Five years of experience working in environmental regulatory compliance.

•    Industrial / Manufacturing experience preferred.

•    Thorough understanding and working knowledge of EPA regulations and laws including but not limited to CWA, CAA, RCRA and EPCRA

•    Travel up to 50% of the time to the two (2) flagship factories, based in New York and Ohio.

•    ISO 14001 experience highly desirable.


Primary Location: This position can be based in either Corning, New York or Lancaster, Ohio

Comp Range: $110k-$120k This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future
