Qualifications
For the GS-14: You must have one (1) year of specialized experience, which is equivalent to the GS-13 level in the federal government, that equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. You must have:
- Experience providing advice and recommendations to senior leadership on administrative programs, policies, operations, and strategic initiatives to support organizational goals and mission objectives.
- Experience leading, coordinating, and evaluating agency-wide programs, projects, or initiatives, including developing policies, analyzing operational issues, and recommending improvements.
- Experience conducting comprehensive research, analysis, and evaluation of administrative policies, procedures, and programs to identify trends, assess impacts, and develop solutions for leadership decision-making.
- Experience managing cross-functional initiatives, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, and preparing executive-level briefings, reports, correspondence, and recommendations on program matters.
- Knowledge of the legislative process in the US Congress.
Merit promotion applicants must meet time-in-grade requirement as defined in 5 CFR 300, Subpart F. One year at the GS-13 level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-14 level.

This position may require the incumbent to complete a confidential financial disclosure report within 30 days of appointment.
This position requires that the successful candidate undergo personnel vetting, which includes a background investigation and enrollment upon onboarding into "Continuous Vetting." Enrollment in Continuous Vetting will result in automated record checks being conducted throughout one's employment with the EEOC. The successful candidate will also be enrolled into FBI's Rap Back service, which will allow the EEOC to receive notification from the FBI of criminal matters (e.g., arrests, charges, convictions) involving enrolled individuals in near real-time.
