The National Association of State Departments of Agriculture (NASDA) is seeking an accomplished leader to serve as Senior Director of Public Policy. This executive leadership position is responsible for advancing NASDA's policy priorities, directing strategic advocacy efforts, and leading a high-performing policy team in support of American agriculture.
The Senior Director serves as a trusted advisor to NASDA leadership and members, providing strategic guidance on emerging policy issues while fostering strong relationships with federal agencies, Congress, state departments of agriculture, industry partners, and other key stakeholders. This position offers the opportunity to influence national agricultural policy, collaborate with leaders from all 50 states and four U.S. territories, and represent NASDA at high-level meetings and events across the United States and internationally.

ABOUT THE POSITION

QUALIFICATIONS
Salary range $155,000.00 - $190,000.00.
WORK SCHEDULE
This full-time, exempt position works at NASDA headquarters at 4350 North Fairfax Drive, Arlington, VA, two blocks from the Ballston Metro Station (orange and silver lines).
We offer a hybrid work schedule, with three days in the office and two days working from home.
