Summary of Position
Take a leadership role in supporting Teladoc’s growth, value proposition, and market differentiation by serving as a key liaison with Capitol Hill and U.S. federal agencies. The Senior Manager, Government Affairs drives health care innovation in the legislative and regulatory environment and plays a critical part in the development and execution of our federal government relations policy and advocacy.
This role is ideal for highly-motivated, entrepreneurial candidates with a passion for changing lives through dramatic paradigm shifts in our nation’s approach to health care and will enjoy close partnership with senior leaders as well as Teladoc Health’s partners and clients.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Develop and maintain strategic relationships with policymakers to enhance Teladoc Health’s role as a partner with government.
Identify, evaluate and analyze the impact of federal legislative and regulatory issues.
Drive development and execution of Teladoc’s long-term policy and advocacy, setting goals and determining metrics, resource allocation and project timelines.
Propose transformational, relevant, and actionable recommendations for healthcare policymakers.
Assist with the development of public policy to advance innovation and drive the adoption of virtual care across Medicare, Medicaid, and employer and commercial insurance markets.
Assist with the development of regulatory policy to drive market access and adoption of health AI and digital health technologies.
Develop policy insights that will help Teladoc Health innovate and scale effectively, so that we may continue to deliver new solutions that improve clinical outcomes, affordability, and quality.
Represent Teladoc Health at national forums and serve as point of contact for key health care stakeholders including professional, hospital, and technology associations.
Prepare reports, presentations, and analysis for Teladoc’s leadership team, with respect to all government relations, regulations and policy.
Manage corporate political contribution plan and ensure compliance with state and federal law
Work closely with outside consultants to achieve key policy goals.
Qualifications Expected for Position
6-8 years’ experience in government relations, policy development and analysis.
5 years’ experience in a healthcare environment or related field.
Extensive knowledge of federal legislative and regulatory processes.
A demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with senior executives and policymakers, verbally and in writing.
Experience with healthcare trade associations
Experience in legislative strategy and providing techniques to facilitate legislation as a registered lobbyist, or experience managing outside lobbyists.
Strong business judgment and critical-thinking skills.
Excellent presentation and public-speaking skills.
A knack for synthesizing and distilling complex policy concepts.
Excellent relationship-building skills.
A drive to achieve results.
Passion for Teladoc’s mission.
A Bachelor's degree in Public Policy, Government Affairs, Business Administration Political Science, or related field.
Additional desirable qualifications:
A Master's or Law degree.
The base salary range for this position is $135,000 - $150,000. In addition to a base salary, this position is eligible for a performance bonus and benefits (subject to eligibility requirements) listed here: Teladoc Health Benefits 2026. Total compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to, type of position, location, education level, work experience, and certifications. This information is applicable for all full-time positions.
We follow a Flexible Vacation Policy, intended for rest, relaxation, and personal time. All time off must be approved by your manager prior to use. You will also receive 80 hours of Paid Sick, Safe, and Caregiver Leave annually. This applies to full-time positions only.
