Full-time

Turn commitment into confidence—and signed starts into successful arrivals.

At Western Welding Academy, enrollment isn’t just paperwork—it’s a life decision. As the Student Success Manager (Closer), you’ll work with students who have already raised their hand by paying a Booth Hold Payment (BHP) and selecting a start date. Your job is to deepen trust, remove barriers, and ensure they arrive ready—financially, logistically, and mentally—to begin training.

This role is perfect for someone who blends sales follow-through with high-touch relationship management. You’ll help committed students stay on track to start—removing barriers and building confidence with clear, caring support.

What we offer

  • Competitive wages
  • 100% Employer paid medical benefits option
  • Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance
  • Paid Time Off and Sick Leave
  • 401K option after 90 days.

What you’ll do

Close the gap from “yes” to “start”

  • Own the onboarding process end-to-end: documents, housing steps, start readiness.
  • Maintain consistent contact to keep excitement high and reduce cancellations/no-shows.
  • Address concerns early and confidently—finances, logistics, family objections, or fear.

Support financing + remove barriers

  • Help students navigate financial aid steps, loan options, and payment plans.
  • Provide clear next steps and accountability so students complete requirements on time.

Be the trusted point of contact

  • Build strong relationships with students and families.
  • Respond promptly and professionally—always solution-oriented.

Run a tight process

  • Track and document all interactions in the CRM with accuracy.
  • Report on KPIs tied to start readiness, completion rates, and enrollment outcomes.
  • Follow established processes, policies, and applicable compliance expectations.

Collaborate to deliver a seamless student experience

  • Partner with the Student Selection team and internal departments to ensure students are supported from commitment through day one.
  • Participate in training, coaching, and team meetings to sharpen sales and support skills.

What success looks like

  • High start-rate and onboarding completion (students show up ready)
  • Reduced melt (fewer drop-offs after deposit)
  • Strong student/family satisfaction feedback
  • Accurate CRM records and consistent daily/weekly reporting
  • Consistent contribution to monthly/quarterly/annual enrollment targets

What you bring

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required)
  • Proven sales experience with a track record of hitting or exceeding goals (required)
  • Strong rapport-building and communication skills with diverse individuals
  • High follow-up discipline, excellent organization, and problem-solving ability
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems
  • Bonus: knowledge of WWA programs, workforce/trades, or student services

Physical/working environment

  • Primarily desk/phone/computer work; occasional lifting up to 25 lbs; events may require standing/walking.
